Jimmie & Julie: Married

I had been waiting for months and months (just like Julie & Jimmie) for this brunch wedding! Getting to look through the photos from the day gets me excited all over again. Courtney Smith Photography captured some stunning moments and I’m swooning over these pictures!

The ceremony was held at the beautiful historic Old Peace Chapel at the home of Daniel Boone. The sun streamed through for their morning wedding which lit up the site.

Julie unfortunately had a cold but her groom took great care of her…leaving her Sprite at the hotel and chapel and having tissues on hand.

Julie & Jimmie’s favorite movie is Titanic and they chose subtle ways to show it; from the Heart of the Ocean necklace, to Titanic trivia games for the guests, to the wedding party walking down the aisle to “Rose’s Theme.”

They had a fun and joyful bubble exit after their first kiss as Mr & Mrs!

Another tribute to Titanic was found in a canvas stating, “Meet me at the clock,” which is also the first note Jimmie ever gave to Julie in college.

They had a lovely tribute to all those family members that could not witness their special day.

Breakfast is best: Guests got to enjoy a waffle bar, egg station, as well as pastries throughout the reception.

I’ve been waiting to see these gorgeous photos and have been teased by Megh Christine Photography since September 10th. But they’re here! The day was filled with their favorite things: family, friends, Gibson the bulldog, bubbly, and Ted Drewe’s. Because who says “no” to free ice cream on their wedding day?

The reception was at Hawken House, the perfect venue for an intimate wedding. My crew spent most of the morning and afternoon setting up tables family-style and styling the centerpieces that Bre put together herself.

Eric & Sara: Married

I love getting emails from photographers with wedding day pictures! I get to relive the day and see all of the details I missed while running around. Great photography by Caroline Schubert, she perfectly captured Sara & Eric’s fun celebration!

We started the morning out nice and slow, just the way they wanted, with family and friends…and mimosas.

The whole day was filled with the biggest smiles I’ve ever seen, tears of excitement and joy, and a whole lot of love. Sara was so excited to see Eric and he was just as anxious to see his bride. The Westin St. Louis offered the perfect backdrop for their first look.

You can’t fake happiness like that! These smiles lasted all day and more.

The happy soon-to-be-newlyweds hopped on a party bus with their wedding party to Forest Park for some more amazing shots. Keep scrolling to see some of the beauty!

Both Sara & Eric were such a joy to work with. Their genuine happiness for life and excitement for each other was unparalleled. Even being on the shy-side, they both could not stop from laughing and smiling every moment they were together. They truly bring out the best in each other and there’s nothing more enjoyable to witness than that.

The ceremony was just as beautiful and heartfelt and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a smile bigger than Sara’s as she walked solo down the aisle toward her expectant groom.

With a final blessing, they were pronounced husband & wife!

The ceremony was followed by cocktail hour and then dinner at a fantastic venue. If you’re looking around for one, The Palladium St. Louis will take such good care of you and your guests!

After some dinner and cutting of the cake… guests were in for even more of a treat. Eric planned out a special first dance which started out innocently enough with Etta James’s “At Last”…

…and then broke into a medley of songs that Eric personally choreographed for him and his dancing queen.

The rest of the evening was spent dancing and rocking the night away with Dance Floor Riot.
