I had been waiting for months and months (just like Julie & Jimmie) for this brunch wedding! Getting to look through the photos from the day gets me excited all over again. Courtney Smith Photography captured some stunning moments and I’m swooning over these pictures!
The ceremony was held at the beautiful historic Old Peace Chapel at the home of Daniel Boone. The sun streamed through for their morning wedding which lit up the site.
Julie unfortunately had a cold but her groom took great care of her…leaving her Sprite at the hotel and chapel and having tissues on hand.
Julie & Jimmie’s favorite movie is Titanic and they chose subtle ways to show it; from the Heart of the Ocean necklace, to Titanic trivia games for the guests, to the wedding party walking down the aisle to “Rose’s Theme.”
They had a fun and joyful bubble exit after their first kiss as Mr & Mrs!
Another tribute to Titanic was found in a canvas stating, “Meet me at the clock,” which is also the first note Jimmie ever gave to Julie in college.
They had a lovely tribute to all those family members that could not witness their special day.
Breakfast is best: Guests got to enjoy a waffle bar, egg station, as well as pastries throughout the reception.
