Chad & Sarah: Engaged

Sarah and Chad have been together a little over a year now and they’re ready to tie the knot on April 14th! We are so excited for their wedding out at Little Piney with some amazing vendors! Keep scrolling to see their ADORABLE engagement photos and read about what they’re looking forward to most:

How did you meet?

Tinder! We dated for a month before he officially asked me to be his girlfriend, and then the next day he told me he loved me haha!

Share one of your favorite dates.

Every. single. day. with Chad is my favorite date. But even more so when food is involved, and I get to see him eat. That’s like my favorite thing ever is watching him enjoy food haha!

When did you know he/she was the one?

After every time I’d see him, I’d still get butterflies. After a month, three months, a year, and still do to this day.

How did he pop the question?

For our one year anniversary, he took us to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. The day of our anniversary, we stayed in the cabin and enjoyed cooking and relaxing. The following day (on the anniversary of saying we loved each other) we went on a hike up a mountain in an area called Clingman’s Dome. About five minutes in he asked me take out my polaroid camera, and he was going to take a photo of me hiking from behind. WHat was SUPPOSED to happen was he was going to take the ring out, take the photo, and then give me the photo so it would develop as we continued walking. I, though, am a spaz and turned around while he was taking the photo. Very funny because it’s something I would totally do. It all worked out, and we cried haha. It was a complete surprise!

What is your favorite thing about your fiancé?

His eyes and his smile. Also how protected I feel around him.

How do you envision your wedding day?

Simple and relaxed. We definitely want decorations, but the vibe, and spending time with our loved ones is the most important part.

How did you decide on your venue?

First place we looked. We loved how everything was in one place! We also get to stay there overnight on Friday and Saturday and that just takes a lot of stress out of the weekend. IMG_3096.jpg

What are you looking forward to most about your wedding day?

Seeing Chad, and the food!

Patrick & Kitty: Married

We could not have thought of a better way to spend New Years Eve than celebrating with Kitty and Patrick! This day was so full of love, laughter, and the best kind of tears. From the moment we met them, Kitty and Patrick knew exactly how they wanted to spend their wedding: having a party with those they love.

It was six below zero on this December day but the wedding party was all smiles! They and our wonderful vendor team braved the bitter cold to make this day perfect. Their design style was everything a New Years Eve wedding should be…gold, black, and white. See below for the beautiful photography by Kelly Pratt Photography.
